McDonald's Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddles

Whenever Paul and I have breakfast in McDonald’s, I just usually order pancakes, hash brown, French fries or chicken. I have never been a big fan of Sausage McMuffin, Hamdesal or any or their breakfast sandwiches. And as far as I can remember, I have only tried their McMuffin and Hamdesal once.
Since mid-November, I have been seeing more posts and ads about the new McGriddles. I just didn’t have the chance and the motivation to try it until today. I was just chatting with Albert this morning and I remembered he told me something about McDonald’s Philippines ads on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I told him that I will buy one of those McGriddles today and I’m feeling a bit excited.

McGriddles breakfast sandwich is made of two griddle cakes with the McDonald’s logo with a taste of maple syrup. Griddle cakes taste like pancakes after you pour your maple syrup on it. Sweet!!! Paired with Sausage and you can have it with egg and cheese too.

You can get the Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddles ala carte for only Php 107, with coffee Php 123 and with coffee and hash brown for Php 138. The Sausage McGriddle is only Php 92, Php 108 and Php 123 repectively.

Albert prefers just to have Sausage and Cheese McGriddles. Unfortunately, this option is not available. So he mentioned he orders the Sausge, Egg and Cheese McGriddles but he just takes out the egg. I find the egg a bit bland and it seems neutralizes the sweetness of griddle cakes. But overall I think it’s good.

Sausage McGriddles are available during breakfast and will only be here for a limited time only. But I really wish it will be part of the regular breakfast menu. I hope you get to try it out too while it is still here.
