Tomato and Mango Salsa Recipe

My dad loves to dip chips on salsa and he even buys those expensive bottled salsas from the supermarket. I have nothing against salsas bought from the grocery stores, I just think making your own salsa is cheaper and gives you room to adjust the taste to your liking because some of these bottled salsas are too hot, tomatoes are too chunky and others just taste too herb-y. Making salsa is very easy and it doesn't require a culinary degree or extensive cooking experience. So my dear sister made some tomato salsa for us!
Tomato and Mango Salsa
Below is a list of the ingredients she used:
4 Tomatoes
4-6 Cloves of garlic
1 White onion
2 Green chilis
2 Tbsp Bell peppers
1/4 Cup Cilantro leaves
2 Tbsp Freshly squeezed lime juice
Salt
Pepper

My sister and I had a great time trying out Shawarma Brothers and I think our trip there has inspired her to create her version of mango salsa. The one we bought from Shawarma Brothers is really good but I like my sister's version more. You can try her mango salsa recipe below, but of course, you can make adjustments to it.

In this recipe, she used the following ingredients:
2 Ripe Mangoes
1 Cucumber
1/2 Red Onion
1 Green chili
3 Tbsp Cilantro leaves
3 Tbsp Freshly squeezed lime juice
Salt
Pepper
Mango Salsa Recipe
You just need to slice the mangoes and cucumber into cubes and mix it with chopped red onion, green chili and cilantro leaves. Add freshly squeezed lime juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Chill and serve.

These salsas are great with fried or roasted chicken and with nachos or chips! I hope you can try these salsa recipes and if you have your own recipe, please share it with me so we can try it too! Thanks!
