Shawarma Bros - Pasig City

I first saw Shawarma Bros food truck in Capitol Commons when me my friends got together last December. The initial plan was to try the food trucks there but we ended up dining in Thai Dara in Kapitolyo instead. Too bad! I was already eyeing the yellow and black truck and I have anticipated on eating shawarma that night. Days after out trip to Café Lidia, my sister and I passed by Shawarma Bros in C. Raymundo Avenue in Pasig City. My sister said that she has heard about Shawarma Bros on Kris TV and she has been intrigued since then. That's why when we saw their concept restaurant in Pasig, we did not hesitate to drop by and check the place out!

I have always loved eating shawarma. It doesn't matter if it is served on rice plates or pita wraps as long as it is drenched in garlic sauce /yoghurt and some cheese! And don't forget some freshly sliced onions, tomatoes and cucumbers or just a serving of salsa. My mouth waters as I write this one.

Shawarma Bros was started out by a group of friends who was inspired to bring gourmet shawarma dishes with an affordable price. Each dish costs Php 150-200. Not bad! They serve shawarma rice plates and burrito wraps. And you can choose Beef, Chicken or Lamb meat. They also have the classic shawarma wrap which can be beef or chicken. All beef and chicken dishes are priced at Php 150 except for lamb dishes which is sold at Php 200.
My sister and I ordered Beef Shawarma Rice, Chicken Burrito Bro Wrap and Beef Shawarma Wrap. Unfortunately, I was not able to take pictures of our food because we had it for take out. And everything looks like a mess even before we started eating. But everything tasted great! I also ordered extra mango salsa and I really loved it.

I took some photos inside Shawarma Bros concept resto. They have unique door designs, wall frames and they used bottles for their lights!

I really liked the place and I just wish it was bigger. The place have about 15 dine in customers and the place was a bit full when we got there that's why we decided to have everything to go. Dish prices are reasonable and affordable. Shawarma Bros really gives a different shawarma experience!
