Tuna Sandwich Spread Recipe

My mom used to prepare school snacks for us everyday when we were kids. She has a wide variety of snack recipes and I think I got most of my ideas from her. One of the things she taught me was how to prepare tuna sandwich spread. I still do this until now because it's easy and my dad always requests for it.

I was pushed to make this post for one of my friends, Fao, who ultimately loves whatever I feed her. She said my fried rice recipe and tuna sandwich are her favorites! Personally, I don't think there's anything special about my tuna sandwich since I'm doing it the same way as others do. So, to end the mystery to it, I'll share to you how I prepare it.

You will need the following:
1 can of tuna flakes
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

First, drain the water or oil and place the tuna flakes in a small mixing bowl. Add in the chopped onions. You can use red or white onions. I just prefer to use white onions because it gives of a sweet taste.

Add enough mayonnaise to the tuna and onions. We might have different preferences with the amount of mayonnaise added so I didn't include any measurements for this one. I think I have added about a cup for a 7oz (198g) tuna can. Mix well. Then add salt and pepper to taste.

You can use bread loaf or pandesal and even add some lettuce and cheese if you want.  Don't forget to serve it with love.  I hope you'd try this too. If you have a different version of tuna sandwich spread please send me some tips!
