My friend Naj and I have been craving for Jollibee Spaghetti since we started our shift today. The nearest Jollibee branch in Eastwood is a good 400 meters walk so we just decided to have our food delivered.
I searched for their delivery services online and we placed our order at around 1:40PM. I received an automatic email confirmation soon after.
After about 30 minutes, I received a call from Jollibee confirming my delivery address. I got confused because we always use the same address for food delivery. So I read the email again to make sure I didn't type the address wrong. I asked why I just received a call 30 minutes after I received the confirmation and I just received a very unclear answer. So I just requested to have the food delivered sooner. I was informed that Jollibee Greenmeadows in C5 Libis will makethe delivery. Another email came in at 2:20PM.
Forty minutes have passed and all we have are two emails from them. We're getting hungry and that made us cranky too. I checked their website again and read their Jollibee Online Delivery Terms and Conditions page.
Allow me to highlight one part here.
It clearly states that: Customer will be given P200 Jollibee Gift Certificate if the 30 minutes
guarantee is not met. The 30 minutes guarantee is based on the agreed,
synchronized time of the agent with the customer. Well, the delivery came in at 3:02PM so the 30 minute guarantee for the delivery was not met and we didn't receive the gift certificate. 1:40PM - 3:02PM does not equate to 30 minutes for me. It's a total of 1 hour and 22 minutes! I wished we didn't choose Jollibee. I'm just greatly disappointed on how we have received service today.
To the management of Jollibee Online Delivery, please find some ways on how your system can be improved so this will be prevented! I didn't see any improvements and I certainly wasn't served better!
