Father's Day at Lido Cocina Tsina

About a couple of weeks ago, I asked my dad to be free on father's day. My dad normally spends his days teaching at the firing range and weekends are expected to be fully booked. But last June 16, father's day, he spent it with us. My dad, Ate Chel, Kyle and me all went out to have lunch. Daddy and I haven't been to Lido Cocina Tsina yet and this occasion would be a good reason to try it. There's a Lido Cocina Tsina branch in Cainta Rizal, just along Ortigas Avenue Extension. The place is just in our area and it's just a 15-minute drive.

My sister have been there once and she said she would like to have the Drunken Lechon Macau again. Daddy also ordered Beef Ampalaya, although I prefer the one with broccoli. He said ampalaya is more therapeutic especially for him because his blood sugar is high. I also ordered Chopsuey Guisado. Kyle is not a big eater and just wants something similar to my fiesta fried rice. So we got him the Lido Fried Rice.

We also had Black Gulaman and Pinipig Jelly for dessert. I really loved the Pinipig Jelly! Aside from its color, it's really delicious. I'm not sure if this dessert would be available in other restaurants and I think this will be one of the reasons I would go back there.

And since it was Father's Day, they have given my dad a complimentary coupon that will be valid on our next visit! Yay! It just means another quality time with the family!

Our bill was around Php1200. Dining budget can be within Php200-300. Lido has a wide range of Chinese dishes in their menu and our family would surely visit again.
