Tok-yu Sushi Bar & Restaurant

After we have casted our votes in Makati City last May 13, my family and I decided to have our lunch in Tok-yu. We also thought that this would also be our late mother's day celebration for my sister. ♥

My dad used to work in Mandaluyong City and their office is just near Pioneer Centre. He said he always visited Tok-yu and he loves eating there. The first time he took me and Paul there in December 2012, we waited for about 30 minutes before we were given a table. I think a lot of people really loves to go there. But since it was election day, Tok-yu in Pioneer Centre in Pasig City was almost empty. Yay!

The place just looks simple, nothing fancy but the food is great! The price for their meals ranges from P100 - P200 ($2.50-$5.00) which is very reasonable and serving size is something you wouldn't complain about.
This time, I had a plate of ebi tempura and a mixed sushi which my dad and I shared. My dad also ordered squid misono, which was also what he ordered before. My sister shared meals with Kyle. They had gyoza, japanese fried rice and miso soup.

I wasn't able to take photos of my dad and the other food we ordered, but I think you already get the picture. :) Our bill only came up to P700+ ($17+). We all had a good time and a happy tummy! *BURP*

Tok-yu Sushi Bar & Restaurant is open daily from 11:00 - 22:00. They also have another branch in Panay Avenue cor. Sct Borromeo in Quezon City. You can also check Tok-yu's Facebook page for more details.
